what are you? // top 10 tuesday

top10_july.jpg

Do you still write?

Why yes, yes I do. Do you still breathe?

Stories.

I’ve been writing them since I was 10 years old, after reading as obsessively and continuously as I did, it seemed like the logical next step.

Because that’s how it usually happens, no?

You read and you read until that insatiable hunger leads you to try and put your own words down there in the quagmire of multitudes.

Perhaps, untold stories exist within us all, but only a seasoned reader knows how to pry them out from under her skin and set them loose in the wild.

MAY EBOOK WRAP UP

maywrap.jpg

Super nu feature!

So first, fact about me.

I hate ebooks!

I hate that you can’t take photos of it prettily, I hate that you can have a humongous library of books in some device and you can’t lovingly gaze at it or take selfies, that you can’t smell them or feel them or pet them or in some cases – not often, if it makes you feel any better – taste them! *Cait is the one who eats books, I just taste.*

But I am poor, as poor as them church mice in Disney’s β€˜foxy’ Robin Hood which leaves me no choice if I want to read 28 gazillion books and is threatened to be struck out of the family register when mine and my family’s food money mysteriously disappears through the black hole residing over PayPal.

The 10 Book Tag Challenge

10BOOKRAG.jpg

Up until recently I was wary of doing tags because I was under the impression someone was supposed to tag you in order for you to be eligible. But I was going through Brin’s blogΒ and I saw that it doesn’t really matter so, here is my attempt.

RULES

β€œList 10 books that have stayed with you in some way. Do not take more than a few minutes and do not think too hard. They do not have to be the β€œright” books or great works of literature, just ones that have affected you in some way. Paste these instructions and tag 10 friends, including me, so I can see your list.”
